SNEHA (Society for Nutrition, Education and Health Action) is a Mumbai-based non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health, nutrition, and safety of women and children living in vulnerable urban informal settlements. Role and Key Responsibilities

The Program Officer will be responsible for delivering psychological counselling and social support services to patients and their families, addressing emotional, mental health, and social concerns, and facilitating their adjustment to medical conditions, treatment, and care environments.

• Provide immediate counselling and emotional support to patients and caregivers visiting the Romila Palliative Care.
• Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary Palliative Care team, including doctors, nurses, and volunteers.
• Conduct regular home visits to offer counselling and psycho-social support.

Qualifications and Schedule

• Education Required: Master’s degree preferably in Psychology
• Experience: Experience in counselling, palliative care, health care systems. Freshers may also apply!
