Role and Key Responsibilities
The Government Partnerships Associate will play a critical role in stakeholder engagement, government liaisoning, and compliance to support iTeach Schools’ mission in the social sector.
- Build and maintain relationships with government bodies such as Municipal Corporations, Education Departments, Zilla Parishad, SSC Board, and SSA officials.
- Engage with political representatives, corporators, local leaders, and community influencers.
- Act as the central communication link between iTeach Schools and government stakeholders.
- Resolve issues related to government processes and school operations.
- Ensure all statutory permissions and compliances for schools are obtained and maintained.
- Support MIS, reporting systems, and data reviews in coordination with school teams.
- Train and manage School Management Committees with school social workers.
- Build advocacy networks by collaborating with other NGOs and non-profit organizations.
- Facilitate access to government schemes, scholarships, and student benefits.
Qualifications and Schedule
- Education Required: Graduate or above with a major in Social Work
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in the social sector (government exposure preferred)
- Languages: Proficiency in Marathi and English (reading, writing, typing)
- Work Mode: In person
- Travel Requirement: Willing to travel within Navi Mumbai and Panvel
